Maryanne Mongin

I am an English PhD student who is interested in postmodern American literature. I am passionate about reading, making sourdough pancakes, going to coffee shops, talking with friends, and of course, writing (except when it’s a late night). Originally from Wisconsin, I have recently discovered that tortillas in Texas are nearly the best food ever. It is a very strange thing to be addicted to, but there you have it. 

As a writing consultant, I love the satisfaction a person gets when they discover they actually are a good writer. I firmly believe that good writing is possible for any student to achieve, but most are too intimidated by the writing process. I welcome submissions of papers at any stage of completion, whether you simply need help outlining or have a complete draft.
